With a Masters in Operations Research from Birmingham University, Kieran has been developing computer simulations for over 25 years. He has played a vital role in establishing the use of simulation in production planning and execution and has been influential in the development of SIMUL8. Kieran founded and is currently the President of Visual8 Corporation, the preeminent consulting, training, and support group for SIMUL8 in North America.
Gus Gillespie is a business strategist with experience in the automotive, aerospace, electronics, machine tool, consumer goods, and primary metal industries. The central focus of his work is to assist companies develop and execute business strategies which allow them to achieve their objectives in increasingly competitive global markets. He assists clients develop performance-oriented organizations that support rapid profitable growth, plan and manage new product and new facility projects, and overcome barriers limiting their success. He has also assisted several companies integrate their operations following mergers or acquisitions. His clients include Fortune 500 companies as well as privately owned businesses in North America, Europe and the Middle East.
John Weber has had a career spanning 40+ years in three distinct and fascinating fields of endeavour. He spent nine years with Ford as a production engineer working in several management capacities at an assembly plant. The next 20 years John worked as a management consultant with Price Waterhouse Associates, Woods Gordon and Canada Business Group. As a consultant he undertook projects in areas of productivity, cost management and marketing for both public and private sector clients. For the past 12 years he has been an Investment Advisor providing clients with guidance in managing their portfolios, presently licensed through Dundee Securities Corporation.
Peter J Wright
A Senior Executive with more than 30 years of experience in the Financial Services sector including both regulated and unregulated environments. His background includes Banks, Trusts, and Credit Unions as well as Wealth Management and Insurance environments in both Canada and the United Kingdom. He currently sits on the board of the Fraser River Discovery Centre and is a past director of Ubiquity Bank of Canada and Soft technologies Ltd.
Mr. Doxsee graduated from Ryerson University in 1979 with a diploma in Business Management and earned a place on the Dean’s list in all three years. While working full time, he graduated with a Bachelor of Business Management from Ryerson University in 1981. He holds a Canadian Chartered Accountant (CA) designation (1982) and a U.S. Certified Public Accountant designation (1997). He is certified in mergers and acquisitions (CM&A) by the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors. Mr. Doxsee founded the Entrepreneurial CAs of Mississauga – a not for profit group formed as a forum for local Entrepreneurial CAs. He is a member of the Ontario Institute of Chartered Accountants, The Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alliance of Merger and Acquisition Advisors.
