Introductory Course
This two-day preliminary course is highly interactive and practical, giving attendees an understanding of the concept of simulation modeling, and the direct experience to easily interact with SIMUL8 Software's simple graphical user interface (GUI).
Day 1 & 2 of the Course Includes:
- SIMUL8 design structure
- Basic elements
- Other SIMUL8 constructs
- Introduction to Advanced features
- Four practical in class assignments
An optional third Coaching Day is available, where we work in depth on your model, giving you direct experience in applying your new skills to your company's simulation.

Advanced Course
This two-day in-depth course exposes attendees to the more difficult concepts and constructs in simulation modeling. This course covers advanced SIMUL8 features such as Dialog Boxes, Templates, Components, and Visual Logic Controls.
Prerequisite Requirements
As this is an intensive course, attendees must have attended our Introductory Course or mastered the fundamentals of SIMUL8 on their own.
Day 1 & 2 of Course Material Includes:
- Use of Visual Logic (the background programming language used in the SIMUL8 Process Modeling Software)
- Introduction to information stores
- Accessing Excel and VBA
- Dialog Boxes
- Introduction to the Jobs Matrix
- Seven practical in-class assignments
