Job Description
Join a fast-growing computer modeling team working with Fortune 200 clients across North America. The environment is stimulating, challenging and enjoyable. You'll learn how to tackle business process design applications, manufacturing and logistics problems, and service delivery issues, through the use of computer simulation models.
As a member of our consulting team, you will be working with computer modeling experts and simulation professionals, on projects in many different industry sectors. The work will involve some travel around North America to client sites, trade shows and conferences. For more advanced candidates opportunities exist to join our Planning and Scheduling group. This group is responsible for research, development and implementation of large-scale, integrated, production planning and scheduling systems.
We are a relatively small but industrious consulting group focused on promoting the use and application of operations research techniques for a variety of business applications. We are currently looking for individuals, who have exceptional analytical abilities, above average communication skills and who are enthusiastic about developing their professional career in computer modeling.
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research or Management Science majoring in Computer Modeling preferably based in SIMUL8.
- Scheduling courses or experience in mathematical optimization / scheduling heuristics
- Computer programming (VB.NET, VBA, SQL, C#) skills are a definite asset
- Excellent analytical, numerical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to cope with a fast-paced, sometimes demanding project schedule
